In this recording, we will show you how to change visualizations and add new data points using the Chat Bot.
You can use the Natural Language Query (NLQ) Chat Bot to interact with visualizations from a presentation in an intuitive way with plain English. The ease and fluidity afforded by the Chat Bot facilitates data exploration by encouraging spontaneity, helping users to quickly explore the data in an organic and unrestricted way using English.

Smart Insights are used to generate AI-automated analysis of a given query, with the output returned in natural language. In other words, this powerful tool takes the data in a selected visual and transforms it into plain text, pointing the user toward valuable insights about the data.
Let’s use this feature to take a closer look at the data in the visualization and get a rendered analysis in plain text.

Explain aims to provide insights into the factors driving, or contributing to, a data point of interest. It automatically determines the elements that contribute to a data point’s value using two complementary processes – Dominant Drivers and Influencers – based on a machine learning technique called ‘partial decision tree segment analysis’.
The video tutorial below provides an overview of this feature applied to a Financial Detail visualization. We are interested in analyzing the factors driving the highest sales in the European region.

While Explain provides insights into a single data point, Explain the difference aims to determine the factors behind a difference between two data points. For example, you might want to know what factors are driving the increase or decrease in sales in a particular region, between two months. Explain the difference automatically decides whether to look for factors that drive the increase or decrease based on the order in which you select the two points.
In this video, we will focus on the person with highest revenue for 2023, and analyze their highest sales AND lowest sales.
